I’m back again guys!!! Who missed me? So today’s topic is for everyone- male and female. I’m super excited to discuss this with you guys because it’s a very vital topic and also super easy to practise.
A Lot of us do not think it’s necessary to care for the feet bathing, we think bathing/ washing our feet is the max we can do. Well, I’m here to tell you that there’s a lot more you can do to care for your feet so as to keep them looking beautiful and infection free.
One of the vital things to do is to KEEP THEM HYDRATED. Like our mouth, our feet also need water preferably at the end of the day, wash your feet, dry them and apply moisturizer.
Another important way to care for your feet is by giving them room to BREATHE. Yes we like to slay but in between our ‘slayitude’, it’s nice to take off our shoes while we run our daily activities.
Another thing that is so basic is to TRIM OUR NAILS. I cannot even overemphasise this, some people move about with their toenails looking so black and dirty. Pls if you are in that category, trim them for the sake of humanity.
EXFOLIATING is as important to your feet as it is to your body. Callus feet(especially under the feet) can actually crack and expose the skin to infections but regular exfoliation can sort this. Even if you cannot go for a proper pedicure, you can easily do it at home using salt scrub, warm water and oil for hydration and you are fine. Ensure you avoid razors and scrappers as they can break the skin and cause infections.
Another important yet easy way to care for your feet is to MASSAGE them.
