LAGOS SHOPPING GUIDE

Hello beautiful women🤗 whew!! it’s been one whole week without you and it felt like eternity but guess what, I’m here again with the juiciest tips, tips you sure don’t want to miss. Today, I’ll be guiding you on the best places to shop for different things in lagos–well we all know Lagos is the commercial home of the country and the markets are always crowded. To avoid this, it’s best you know where to get whatever you want either groceries, clothing or even gifts.

Shopping in Lagos is a very loud affair, whether it’s a market, mall, or boutique, the city of Lagos has something for everyone. When planning to shop in Lagos, it is best to put aside your sparkling shoes, lovely outfits(not saying you should shop in rags o) and sometimes your Queen’s english😂(you might need to show the pidgin side of you) to get the best.

The larger shopping malls are located in Lagos Island and Lekki Peninsula. So if you need to find clothes, jewellery, electronics and high-end souvenirs, you should head to Victoria Island’s Palms Mall, Megaplaza, and Park ‘n Shop.

Do note that if you need electronic items that are not too expensive, ‘Alaba’ market is your plug(but you must shine your eyes there o😂)

For shoppers that wish  to buy masks, crafts, paintings, statues, and local jewellery, you will be satisfied in ‘Oyingbo’ Market, which is located eight miles (14km) from the centre of the city. The market has a food section and a handicraft area. While the  food section is particularly worth visiting for local cuisine and groceries, the handicraft are has items for both Nigeria and african crafts.

I guarantee you that you can always get a cheaper seller in informal markets but I cannot vouch for the quality of their wares.

A big tip i definitely shouldn’t leave out is BARGAINING hmmm small expo🤫, always offer a third of the asking price. Experienced hagglers will agree that starting at a third of the asking price and settling at half is the best way to get the item you are after.

Now the most important of all tips is where to get shoes in big sizes, you already know we are your plug so top dulling and start shopping😍
