Juggling Work And Staying Fit

Hello ‘beaurifu’ people, welcome to this new month- the month of LOVE. Trust you are doing very well and for my Lagos family, how are you coping? See ehn, I know it can be really hard juggling work, traffic, kids(if you have any) and staying fit. In fact, there is hardly any time to go to the gym for any form of exercise. That’s the reason this gist is coming up- maintaining that fit body without going to the gym. I will outline five very easy things to do(so easy you can even slide them into your daily routine) to help you stay fit and work because Fitfam 2020 is a must.

  1. Start with 10s- Try doing situps and pushups at least 10 daily. Before you raise your eyebrows, it doesn’t have to be consecutive don’t worry. You could do 2 in the bathroom, another 2 while cooking and go on like that all day.
  2. Don’t sit for over an hour- Yes, I understand that when you sit with your system at work, it goes on for hours but there is something you can do. Stand up and walk around every hour- it doesn’t have to be a long-distance, it could be to the toilet or to the next office, just stroll.
  3. Eat healthy- This is a very critical part because alot of workaholics miss this. Food is important but eating healthy is more important.
  4. Water- Apart from aiding digestion, drinking water regularly also helps balance our blood sugar level and maintain a healthy skin among other things.
  5. Sleep well- Alot of the sickness and tiredness we experience would be avoided if we sleep well. Drop your phone, shut that system down and sleep.

There’s alot more you can do but starting with these will definitely help you stay fit and maintain your health even with your busy schedule.
