In times like this, times when some people are anxious, scared, and worried. We can’t hug or shake each other out of fear and caution. While a lot of us are working from home, a number of us still go out daily for various reasons. In all these, it’s not easy to find or maintain motivation and that’s the reason I’m writing this.
Lest I forget, how are you doing? I hope you are staying calm enough in these turbulent times. So as earlier stated, this post is mainly to help you find and maintain motivation in this time when our minds aren’t well settled.
To do this, one thing you must do first is to maintain positivity. For people that don’t know how to do this, here’s how- focus majorly on the good side of events or situations for instance, when looking at the COVID-19 statistics, focus on the recovery rates rather than the death rates. You can also say a lot of positive things about and to yourself, it helps a great deal.
Another thing to do in times like these is to avoid procrastination. Asides the fact that you need to always keep yourself busy, pushing things till later may pile them up and you’ll end up getting overwhelmed.
Another important thing to do is to reduce your to-do list. There’s alot on your mind already, having a long to-do list isn’t what you need.
Physical exercises do your mind as much good as it does your body. They help yu relax mentally.
Draw motivation from your environment. Environment here means everyone and everything around you including your social media pages. Filter the negatives and spend more time with the positives so that the energy can flow.
On a lighter note, you can also draw motivation from our social media pages and ultimately, shoe-shopping.
Breathe everyone, this too shall pass.
As always, keep referring, keep buying and don’t stop following your one stop store for big feet shoes that fit.
